In that case the translation should be "slecht voorteken". And Babelfish indeed doesn't know the translation from english to dutch, but translate "slecht voorteken" to english and you get "bad omen"

waitaminit...are healbot and lilifrog responsible for the searing? OMG! Healbot's desire to be a smitebot must be a sign of her corruption from abbadon!

Well, Healbot just mailed her special Wintersday gift to the ArenaNet offices. Regrettably, she made me promise not to reveal the contents before being received.
Now I gotta make the next world tour comic...Nippon!
OK, Done!
Anyone familiar with Japanese "Dating Sim" games or "Harem" anime should get this one right away...

As long as Kisai doesn't try to get Healbot completely bare in the end, all should go well.
The second option is true. Some are studying for finals, others are on their winter break now, and some of us older players, of course, are working.

I find it slightly amusing how innocent it sounds when you call them "dating sims" or "harem games".
I would however be very perplexed if someone would openly admit being familiar with them. The truth? You can't handle the truth.

Are you suggesting that I'm unaware of some aspect of otakudom? None of the mentioned source material is new or "underground"...

Ah, my bad there I apologize. I was supposed to have used "people call" instead of "you call". I was merely wondering how this very very innocent and politically correct euphemism is used as an umbrella term for material which might not be very nice and even in some cases is borderline illegal. Basically just my way of saying that one should be somewhat careful of the impression he gives to the outside world. Not that I would mind about such things of course.
And yes, unless you're totally hardcore about it I'm quite sure you can't handle the truth.
PS. I love your work. XOXO

If anything, we Americans love to make euphemisms for cross-culture oddities, bureaucratic snafus, and human anatomy. I don't think any minor that googles "harem anime" is going to be scarred from the resulting Negima or Happy Lesson material. Still, I would say that forum members should use tact when linking GW material to other subjects that may not share the "T for Teen" rating.
I only mentioned those phrases because I have a tendency to want to explain the creative stages in making my illustrations. BTW, did you notice that the art supplies are for "manga"?

Lin and Healbot only have hairbuns in common...
I've uploaded the latest Mini - Healbot takes on an imaginary Korean Snowball platoon! I don't think she understands how the ladder works...
